After the COVID-19 pandemic, the world was confronted with unprecedented challenges, leaving many individuals grappling with various forms of trauma and mental health issues. As we navigated through the aftermath of that global crisis, it became apparent that traditional forms of therapy may not always suffice in addressing the complex emotional and psychological wounds inflicted by such an extraordinary event. In response, Ayoola founded Artherapy Northwest as a powerful platform for healing and resilience. The time of art therapy in alleviating post-pandemic trauma had come and its integration into mental health space care was imperative.
